Rebirth: A Year Inside the Ground Floor of Virginia Football

I was reading Gridiron Genius when it hit me that you learn more about a subject by writing about it. Virginia Football has been steadily improving for years now, so I began flipping through my journals and notebooks from 2016. The lessons and stories from that year spent building the foundation at Virginia have helped me ever since.

The importance of culture, team-building, and having a vision is universal. Hopefully these lessons, in the context of the 2016 season, convey even the slightest bit of what I learned from Coach Mendenhall.
